Andrea A. Squibb, C.Ht. is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Certified CBT-I Clinician. She graduated with honors from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute in Los Angeles, CA in 2010 and received her CBT-I certification via Dr. Gregg D. Jacob whose program was created and utilized at the Harvard Medical School for Insomnia. She also has a BA from Connecticut College in New London, CT.

It is her personal goal to help each client realign their subconscious programming, so it is congruent with their conscious desires, hopes and dreams. With the help of Guided Imagery, Hypnotic Suggestion, NLP, CBT, CBT-I, EFT, Brain-Spotting, Mindfulness Techniques, Idiomatic Response Techniques, personal insight and professional experience, Andrea provides clients a safe place to be heard, free fears, reduce anxieties, weed out unwanted behaviors, grow and improve.

It is Andrea’s mission to empower others to achieve their goals and dreams, to help people better understand themselves and the world we live in and to expand the world by enabling individuals to find their purpose and discover their soul’s unique preferences. She enjoys giving others the courage to uncover and “be” their true selves.

She believes in working hard, taking risks, acting authentically, giving generously of herself and never being too tired or lazy to follow the code of ethics she has created for herself.

Andrea believes that we create our own destiny and that our soul’s desires are guideposts to lead the way. She believes that the struggles, anxieties and joys of life are equally important in terms of living fully and that a person’s “soul power” can emerge out of even the most difficult times, during depression, failure and even in times of loss. She is committed to joining you on your path, through the labyrinth of life and helping you to make your journey as enjoyable and meaningful as possible.

Andrea has been in practice since 2010 and is a member in good standing of the National Guild of Hypnotists, The American Hypnosis Association and The Hypnotists Union Local No. 472. She had also worked as a consulting hypnotherapist for several mental health and addiction facilities in the LA area for the last 8 years.

I really enjoyed taking this course w/ Andrea. Each week covers step by step what you need to start sleeping well again. There are hypnotherapy recordings to listen to each week to help to reprogram the mind for sleep and a weekly Q&A that I found helpful. Andrea also made herself available during the week if I had concerns. I've just finished the 6th week and if I compare myself from the 1st week to now, I'd say there is a vast improvement about my understanding of sleep, positive thoughts and overall wellness.

FAQs

  • How is the Hypnosis, or Hypnotherapy, utilized in the course?

    The course includes recordings to download and use at home which include hypnotic suggestion. The course materials also provide education on the hypnoidal state and how to transition to it which allows clients to get closer to sleep and eventually to sleep or back to sleep. Some techniques in the course are also in the form of self-suggestion or self-hypnosis.

  • What if I am not able to attend the Q&A sessions?

    You will have time to submit questions for the Q&A sessions ahead of time. You will also be emailed a copy of the recording from the weekly Q&A session in case you are unable to attend or wish to listen to it again.

  • What if I have questions or concerns during the week?

    You can post your question in the community link, you can submit your questions for the weekly Q&A session with Andrea or you can email Andrea directly. Andrea will also check in with you weekly by phone or email to check on your progress.

  • What if the program doesn't work for me?

    If you can show that you have genuinely put in effort to follow the course and complete the assignments but are still not seeing any improvement in your sleep, Andrea will issue you a full, or partial, refund of your payment depending on the specifics of your situation.

  • What if I am currently taking sleeping medication?

    You can still participate in the course. If you would like to begin to taper off your sleep medication, you can do that during the course. It is helpful to seek the advise of your physician while doing so. The course will provide basic guidelines to taper off of medication as a supplement to your physician's advice.

  • What if I am unable to complete the course in 6 weeks?

    You will have access to the course materials for 365 days from your purchase date.
